Description |
Square section glass bottle with glass stopper. Paper label intact. Contained "imitation vinegar / concentrated vinegar essence". Produced by W.R. Cooke & Sons Christchurch, but label stuck over manufacturer of "J.S. Dodds, Medical Hall, Akaroa, NZ." Punt has "24" in raised numerals. John Scott Dodds ran the Medical Hall from c.1892 (taking over from his father) until 1926. |
