Carte de visite format albumen silver print of the Le Prou Blacksmith Shop. Two horses stand in front of the building with a man bending by one. Three more men and two boys are standing and looking at the camera. The sign on the building reads: Le Prou Shoeing Smith. The smithy buildings are surrounded by trees, with long grass/weeds in the foreground and a poster advertising 'Dr Car...' Photograph mounted on white card with photographers name and studio details printed front and back. Thornhill Cooper was only working as photographer from this studio for a short time, according to Una Platts he sold the studio in 1876. |
